How Much Is the Pag-ibig Death Benefit?

The maximum amount of the Pag-ibig Death Benefit is 6,000 pesos.

This Death Benefit is sometimes referred to as Burial or Funeral benefit, grant or assistance.

If the member's Total Accumulated Value (TAV) is 6,000 pesos or more, the death benefit is 6,000 pesos.
If TAV is less than 6,000 pesos, the death benefit is the same as the TAV.
For example, if the TAV is 4,500 pesos, the death benefit is 4,500 pesos.

What is TAV?
TAV means Total Accumulated Value. It is the total of all the member's savings and employer's contributions (if employed) plus annual dividends.

Here's the part of the Application for Provident Benefit Claim form that shows the computation of the Death Benefit.
